Sunday Morning Studies
Meet during 9:00 a.m. worship service. Contact Linda Lowery for more information about all studies listed here.
- Pop In Bible Study: no advance preparation needed. Bring your Bible explore a book of the Bible together.
- The Thoughtful Christian: if you like a variety of topics that include the Bible, theology, Christian Living, and current events, then this class is for you.
- Life Lessons: a discussion based on the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) along with insights shared by the terminally ill. The study book is “Life Lessons” by Kubler-Ross & Kessler.
Studies for Men
- Saturday Morning Men’s Breakfast Group: meets weekly on Saturday mornings at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast and study.
- Tuesday Morning Men's Breakfast Group: meets weekly on Tuesday mornings at 7:00 a.m. at the IHOP restaurant on Randall Rd. near Rt. 20 for breakfast and study.
Studies for Women
- Circle of Hope: meets on the second Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. for study and fellowship.
- Women of Faith: meets weekly on Thursdays at 7:15 p.m. Their current study is based on the book “Power Thoughts” by Joyce Meyer.
- Women's Drop-In Study: meets on the first Wednesday of the month at 6:33 p.m. to discuss the book, "Captivating."
Small Groups
- Study with Pastor Lisa: meets on the Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. or 7:00 p.m. (choose one) to discuss the problem of evil and faith in a good God. This class runs from January 10 through February 7.
- Beginnings: meets on Thursdays at 7:00 p.m. for an introduction to the Christian faith, led by Pastor Lisa. This class runs from January 19 through March 15.
- Emmaus Reunion Group: meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:33 p.m. for fellowship and accountability. You do not have to have attended a Walk to Emmaus to participate.
- Pushing the Envelope: meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. to discuss faith and current events.
- Romans Class: meets weekly on Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. (starting October 25).
- Wednesday Night Bible Study: meets weekly on Wednesdays at 6:33 p.m. to study “The Story” of the Bible chronologically, from beginning to end, in an easy to understand text.
- NOOMA Adult Discussion: meets weekly on Wednesdays at 6:33 p.m. Drop in when you can and join the discussion that follows one of the popular NOOMA videos with Pastor Rob Bell.
- Prayer and Meditation Study: meets weekly on Mondays at 1:00 p.m.
- Brown Bag Lunch Study: meets weekly on Thursdays at 12:30 p.m. for a "Drive Through History" study of Greece, Rome and the Holy Lands.
- Wisdom Keepers: meets on the third Wednesday of the month at noon for lunch and fellowship. This group is for adults age 60 and above. Cost of lunch is $5/person.
- Quilters: meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 6:00 p.m. for quilting and fellowship. This group is for both experienced and inexperienced quilters.
