Cornerstone Church Vision Statement

Cornerstone's Vision Goals
Adopted April 25, 2004

Assumption

Our Ministry must ALWAYS continue to be a Christ-centered, relational ministry!

Gathering Goals

  • Develop a culture of Belonging and Knowing ‘who and what’ I belong to.
  • Put into place a multi-level educational strategy/process that follows the model of
    Seed to Bearing Fruit.
  • Create a process of communication that is thorough, timely, pervasive,
    accurate, and effective.

 Growing Goals

  • Create Multiple levels of Christian – educational programming.
Basically, the sky is the limit on what needs to be done.
  • Create a Process of Development so that people can be challenged to Grow at their own
pace, in mind, body, soul, and spirit as God’s Created Family.
  • Immediately create a Facilities Development Team to bring an architectural plan back to the congregation by January 1, 2005.
  • Merge members of the Vision Team with the Ministry Council and charge them with holding the congregation accountable to all we vote in favor of today.
  • Charge the Personnel Team and Ministry Council with putting in place a plan so that the congregation is effectively staffed to meet the needs of the congregation and community.

Going Goals

In three years, do this Vision Process again!

  • Effectively develop a process of targeted outreach of the church to the community.  (Throw our nets to more fish.)
