December Mission of the Month
Northwest Suburban
Hispanic Ministries
Helps struggling
Hispanic families help themselves. They have a food and clothing pantry where volunteers assist and supervise the selection
of needed items. Many recipients are now helping others by returning items they no longer need. This boosts their self-esteem
in the process. They do translations of letters and documents, help find medical, legal and educational professionals, and
encourage clients to take English as Second Language classes to be able to move ahead in their chosen fields.
