†  Confirmation is about the gift God has given us in Jesus Christ. It is about how God has loved us. It is about what we do to accept God’s gift and make it our own.

†  Confirmation is the time when you either affirm and accept your own baptism or re-affirm the promises that were made for you when you were baptized as a child and claim them as your own.

†  Confirmation is knowing more about what it means to be a Christian – what we believe as a church and how we are to live our lives.

†  Confirmation is about being old enough to profess our own faith, to say what we believe. It doesn’t mean we have all the answers, but we can learn enough to begin the journey for ourselves.

†  Confirmation is about being old enough to contribute to the life of the congregation
